Just wondering if anyone knows if there is an inside bonnet lining available for the XR8s?

I noticed that the holes are all there for the clips to hold it on, but my car didn't come with any lining.

Just wondering if any XR8 owners can comment.

Ford found that because the Boss engine is so low on NVH they didn't need the lining. hence it is omitted on all Boss 260 and 290 engines. And obviously the low end car lining won't fit.

Yeah I know. I suspect it may have a few things to do with probs we had on AU with bonnet linings rubbing on the engine and all that. Anyhow, bottom line is why would you want one?

I was just curious....just that the holes are there for it? Plus, I think the VY's have the lining from memory, so I was just wondering what the reason was that they were left of the BA XRs/GTs.
