My 2008 F150 recently lost compression on one of the cylinders. The place I took it to suggested a replacement. They quoted me parts and labor of around 9k. The dealership I bought it from (less than a year and 6k miles ago) agreed that if I bought the engine they would replace it cheap. I’ve seen multiple places online that advertise remans around 4k. Does anyone have any experience with Fraser, powertrain products etc that has any advise. Need to fix cheaper because the truck is only worth about 10k, but I still have a loan on it. Thanks!
