Who makes the best struts/shocks for the Ford Contour?

It all depends on what you are looking for. Adjustable or just stock replacement. There are several different types, KYB, Koni, Bilstein or BAT Euro's.

Alot of people like to go with the BAT Euro's or KYB for stock replacement, although some have had trouble with the KYB wearing out faster. I plan on picking up a pair of BAT Euro's here soon.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I just picked up some Gabrials online off ebay. I had to replace the rear struts and the best price I could find was around $65 per side and that was Monroe sensatrac and KYB. The Gabrials are a good strut and I got the pair for $70 and $20 for shipping. They are working out great. A bit of a pain installing but saved some money. About $40 plus tax. Oh and I got them in like 4 days after I payed for them.
