you cant use the tapered pods as they hit on the air box. you need a straight cylinder type, and fit via a 3" tube into the alloy trumpet in the inlet. but if its too hard to find one just go a flat panel k+n. if you have over 60k kilometers then you should look at replacing the platnum plugs and or the leads(for the miss). dont get genuine ford leads at $940 a set. go for top gun at $100.. cheersXD408 said:Thanks for the info, im waiting to get the exhaust done and servicing the motor as it has a little miss down low, what air pod did you use and how did you set it up?

just built one, with the same cam and same 185cc trickflow heads for my 347, in a AU 2 with 5 speed. should get aprox 320rwhp but with 80% of my torque from 2000rpm. long live the 347..DJS351XD said:Trickflows work better than a AFR's on the 5.0's. More torque/power in the midrange.
We generally use a Comp Cams 35-351-8 hyd roller in the EFI Windsors we build, with Trickflow heads, late model intake setup and an upgraded fuel pump you'll make approx 286rwhp from a 5.0 and 310-320 from a 347 stroker.
