Hey Guys

Tried to change my pads yesterday and as a result have snapped a guide bolt
inside a caliper. Thing was corroded and the only signal it gave was a hight pitch sound just before it happened.

So Any Ideas on how to proceed from here? It looks like it is snapped just at the steering knucke. My thought was to drill it out and take the caliper off, then drill the rest out.

Also rang up a parts place and they wanted 50 bucks for a set of bolts? I thaught WTF? any ideas on what these are worth new?

Shit, they are 19mm or 21mm bolts aren't they?

I have quite a few spare here at the moment, so if worst comes to worst, I could send you them..

Hey Guys

Good ending to the story

Managed to baby the car to a brake place, and they fixed her up for 55 bucks. Didn't charge for a new bolt, and apparently the slide pins were stuffed to, all fixed up and drives heaps better too

PS place was Brake Bits Belco ACT
