Hi all,

The centre console lid in my XB has had it. Theres nothing left of the hinges, or pins and holes, I'm not sure what held it in place from factory.

Has any figured out an inventive way of re-attaching the lid? Or of a place where I could get hold of a replace hinge set/lid?

Have you tried your local wreckers, or check the yellow pages for places that specialise in the older Fords. Also try Rare Spares perhaps, and you could also ask a motor trimmer for some advice.

The lid itself is in perfect nick, its just the hinges don't exist at all. Because I've only just purchased the car I don't know how it was originally setup and I was hoping that an industrious person here faced a similar problem and come up with a clever way of solving this problem.
Anybody?
