AutoGuide.com: Dita Von Teese is a burlesque dancer, author, designer, entrepreneur, model, and all around badass. She lives the complete 1950s pinup lifestyle, so of course, she also has quite the collection of cool vintage cars.
Dita recently shared with her Instagram followers that she would be selling her 1956 Mercury Monterey Phaeton in white and black to help make way for another car entering her collection. Other notable vehicles of hers are a ’39 Chrysler New Yorker (which was the first car she bought when she was 22), a ’53 Cadillac Fleetwood called “Steel Xanax,” and formerly, a beautiful ’39 Packard that she also sold to make way for more cars. The Mercury is a good-looking car, especially in the white-and-black color scheme, but there are a few flaws such as the steering wheel being cracked and the engine bay being dirty and lacking an air filter for some reason. We can look beyond the flaws and see a great car and story, plus it comes with autographed photos from Dita herself.
