Depends on what your after. I got a full manualised (transgo), stage III shift kit, billet input shaft, billet servo and a solid band rebuilt for $1055. Auto like this should handle 550-600hp.tubbyleahy said:What is the usual buying price for a decent C4 auto?
A shift kit consists of gaskets, springs and ball bearings. What happens is a trans specialist just fits the kit to your valve body and drill holes if necessary. Best left to the specialists. It costs bugger all anyway. It's not something you can cost cut because if it's done wrong? The trans won't function correctly. Which in turn will cause trans damage.RevHeadRon said:nobody knows? or is it just easier to get the valve body that has already been shift kitted?
Not a single drama. The prior auto builder built 3 box's and all started to fail within the 1st week (less than 100k's on them). The Bert Kewish box is very nice.xdc351 said:Damn thats a good price! How does it handle the abuse?
