I just love the Fairmont GXL shape, style and refinement. They were the most luxurious of their body style and the last chromed bumper Aussie Falcon.

I own this XC GXL. 351C V8 FMX auto.

Who else owns a GXL?

Thats a beaut XC Fairmont you have there.............. mine is a XC Falcon Cobra #141 with 5.8 FMX full house I purchased NEW in 1978. I just love all Australian Fords when left Factory Stock; my others are 1963 XL sedan and 1971 XY Fairmont 351C C10 and 1972 Capri GT V6 manual (one of only 11 made) ........... I'll upload pics if desirable but havent yet as this thread is FAIRMONT GXL which I have none !
