Too bad you sold it. Looked real nice

Sweet Probe
man i love that blue on the VW !! its beautiful
Cougar looks good to.
Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, the blue on the Jetta is beautiful...I almost got Lagoon Blue but I couldn't find any on a VR6...almost all of the Lagoon Blue Jettas were either the 2.0L or the 1.8T...so I went with a black VR6 :D

Are those the stock PGT rims poilshed? Look real nice.
The cougar looks good, the Jetta is nice, but I imagine the black looks even better. Get some chrome 17s on it and your set...
The wheels on the PGT are 17x8 Adonnis 5-spokes...I got tons of compliment on them especially because they were a very rare rim. The pictures don't do the rims justice, they flowed with the Probe lines so well.

My Jetta has the rims as pictured, which are the new-for-2001 17" VW Long Beach wheels...they're the optional wheel for the sports suspension (standard is 16"). I love the Long Beaches, I might chrome them in the near future, so they'll be staying on the car for quite a while.

Did I mention I miss my Probe :(
The Probe was nice, but the Jetta will be alot easier to find stuff for at least. If you plan on modding the Jetta those things can get REALLY fast! Also, they are very fancy looking in my eyes.

You should have just kept the Probe AND got the Jetta.
.
woah! the wing on that cougar looks like it is off of a eclipse. that is a little much for me.. like the jetta and the probe though :)
Nice Jetta

Is that the Wolfsburg edition by any chance?

OK, lemme go clean my eyes... But those rims look very similar to the stock 5 stars. What suspension set-up did you have?
The Jetta is nice, Im not a big fan though. If I was to buy a Volkswagen, I would probably buy a GTI. I know you HAD to buy a 4 door sedan, just thinking...
you sold it? I am going to miss your car. Your website and car was part of the reason I bought my Probe.
Yep, Charger, it's sold...it's great to hear that my car and website influenced Probe owners such as yourself...it makes me realize the effort on my car and site were worth it.

The Adonnis wheels in person are very different from stock...they look especially killer while rolling.

My Jetta is a loaded GLS VR6 (basically a GLX)...the Wolfsburg comes with a 1.8L Turbo, upgraded cloth, and 16" BBS wheels. It's basically an appearance package for the 1.8T. I wanted leather and a VR6, so I was not too interested in the Wolfsburg (even though it's a nice package for the price).

Trust me Vulcan, if my wife and I weren't buying our first house, I would have kept the PGT in a heartbeat. The Probe was part of our family...I kept unbelievable care of that car. It was probably one of the toughest decisions I've had to make so far in my life...but for the most part, I'm glad I did. BUT, I'm looking to buy a '97 GTS 5-speed in a year or so...so it's not as though my conscience is that clear ;)

I bet it musta been tough to sell your pride and joy, but you did what you had to do. Sometimes we have to sacrifice, and this will give you a chance to come back with an even newer, even better Probe in a year or so...
Just make sure you stick around and stay on the boards! That will give ya a little inspiration to find a 97GTS asap. ;)
