Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, the blue on the Jetta is beautiful...I almost got Lagoon Blue but I couldn't find any on a VR6...almost all of the Lagoon Blue Jettas were either the 2.0L or the 1.8T...so I went with a black VR6 :D

Are those the stock PGT rims poilshed? Look real nice.
The cougar looks good, the Jetta is nice, but I imagine the black looks even better. Get some chrome 17s on it and your set...

The wheels on the PGT are 17x8 Adonnis 5-spokes...I got tons of compliment on them especially because they were a very rare rim. The pictures don't do the rims justice, they flowed with the Probe lines so well.

My Jetta has the rims as pictured, which are the new-for-2001 17" VW Long Beach wheels...they're the optional wheel for the sports suspension (standard is 16"). I love the Long Beaches, I might chrome them in the near future, so they'll be staying on the car for quite a while.

Did I mention I miss my Probe :(

The Probe was nice, but the Jetta will be alot easier to find stuff for at least. If you plan on modding the Jetta those things can get REALLY fast! Also, they are very fancy looking in my eyes.

You should have just kept the Probe AND got the Jetta.

That's the Wings West wing on that Cougar. Its not my thing either but that Cougar is really clean. I think that body kits like those show up particularly nice on black cars.

The Cougar had a similar colour to that Jetta in 1999. Melina Blue. With the Jetta though, the sky's the limit when it comes to the aftermarket. Many companies are importing tons of stuff from Europe for VWs but nobody is importing stuff for European Fords like the Cougar. Hopefully, the popularity of the Ford Focus might open up some avenues for us Cougar owners.
