I've bought a mini fire extinguisher for my car and want to put it in the passenger footwell but before i started merrily drilling away i thought it would be clever to check if there are any cables or anything that run there that may be detrimental to lose! :whoaa:

Any advise would be greatly appreciated :hy:

thanks

If you can tell us what car you have (year, model engine size) someone may be able to answer. But it should be OK if you look underneath the car before drilling any holes. The most likley risks are fuel and brake lines.

most cars have wiring that runs along the side under the carpet in the area between the seat and the doors through from the front of the car to the back.

best to lift the kick panels and lift the carpet up first and have a look
