So those of you who have already been down this road, I have a 79 Capri, was a 4 cyl model, now has an 85 5.0 a 84 aod, and I recently swapped the front k member for an 89 GT's. has anyone ran into trouble running duals on this model? I have the double hump crossmember, but on the pass side the fuel pickup and brake lines run in the area where the tailpipe would or should go. She still has the 7.5 diff (next on the list is an 8.8) do I have to swap out the tank and relocate the brake lines? Seems I recall Ford or Merc only ran exhaust out the drivers side until 84, or 85. Any ideas people?
