Hey guyz, im getting desparate now... i'm asking for any last idea's regarding my car before i go sending it off to a mechanic. Car is a 3.9L MPI manual wagon and it is running very roughly. Ive ran an ECU diag and it spat out code 41 (lean fuel mix) I replaced the O2 sensor which fixed the code fault (now shows code 11 on both engine running and mem codes) Ive also replaced the MAP just in case. Im starting to think that the problem might be of a mechanical nature. The exhaust is putting out a far different tone to what it used too. Its more like a PUT-PUT sound now. Stumbles on load and has no power going up hills. Does not stall on idle but is very rough. Had new motocraft sparks, leads and coil put in. Dizzy is 2 years old. Fuel pressure is OK. All i can think of is maybe the cam timing has slipped a tooth??? Any ideas would be appreciated.
