I recently acquired my Lincoln and discovered the amber "Check Oil" light would intermittently stay on. Usually it's during the first start of the day. Is this normal? Please advice or share any info on this. It would be greatly appreciated. :evil2:

no it is not normal for the oil light to go on.
I would check the obvious things like the oil level,the sending unit wire etc. Depending on the milage it could be a sign of a tired oil pump/and or oil pump driveshaft.
