Hi. I just recently purchased my first Pather car which is a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis. The car has 29,400 miles on it. It probably hasn't been driven very much the last three years or so.
I'm going to go ahead and get the transmission fluid and coolant flushed and changed. Is there anything else you feel I should get checked out or be conscious of?
I also noticed one little thing when driving the car. There is a sort of "flapping" sound which coincides with the rotation of the wheels. The slower the car is moving the flaps are farther apart. The faster I go the more rapid the flapping gets. I checked but didn't see anything stuck to the wheels or tires. Thanks in advance for your response to either of the questions.
