A bloke I know just bought a Landau(good condition) and an LTD (same type)
not long ago.We had a look at the spare motor he got and it matches the Landau. Thing is the motor in the Landau has an engine number starting with AL.
I thought most clevelands from fords started with JG. Anyone enlighten me please????

AL1 is supposed to be an ambulance block. the one 1 got was heavier and thicker in bores than most.
