Hi all PLEASE HELP I recently bought a Cleveland and there is no number where the Cleveland numbers are usually and the only numbers on the crank are 4MA please help .Also under the oil filter there is a small circle in the block about the size of a 5 cents piece also other side of the block same circle

The 4MA is a common stamp mark on the Cleveland cranks. What are you trying to identify about the engine.

There will be some block casting numbers on a raised ledge near the rear of the block which are seen from underneath and some casting numbers on the heads. These can give a general idea of what you have but they sometimes cover a range of engines.
