Ive got a consistant sqeeel-sqeek coming from my front right disc brakes on my XE.
what would be causing this????

i sanded back the rotor slightly the other day and it didnt sqeel for a few days but it has now come back

any ideas??

Get the disc machined. I had a similar problem, and it went away after the discs were machined.

If there is a shudder machine the brakes, other wise change the pads, I have found that some pads just sqeeel-sqeek. Or you seased a piston recently, this not being likely but it can happen.

my guess is glazing of the pads and this comes from overheating or undersize brake roters so machining will only make it worse if you can find some fool that can machine under size rotors. Try a new set of rotors and pads and problem should be fixed.
If rotors have been installed recently your pads are too hard.
