In recent days there has been speculation at to what engines the various Cosworth supplied teams will be running in 2004.
As ever, pitpass went straight to the people who would know best, Cosworth Racing.

"Basically Jaguar will be using a development of the 2003 engine, which has been developed in line with the new regulations," a spokesperson told pitpass.

"Jordan will start and end the year with the same engine, in the same specification, as Jaguar," he continued.

"Any upgrades that take place during the year will occur on both team's engine," he admitted, adding; "although not necessarily concurrently.

"Minardi will be using a development of its 2003 engine, also to the new regulations."
