I have a 97 f150 with a 5.4 that needs a new head. I will be using a stock reman head pre-built. Do I still have to degree the timing? I'm not power hungry, I just want my truck fixed. Also if there's another post that can help please point me that way.

Apparently, you do. If you haven't taken it apart, yet, match mark everything.
