Hi,

I am pulling my drum brake diff out off my XF ute, and would like to know what i need to fit it out with Disc brakes. I would just pick up a DB diff but my current one has 3.5-1 gears and are not that easy to find.

From what i can see i will need a new handbrake cable, new brake lines on the diff, as well as the obviouse stuff (rotors, etc).

Is there anything else i need or need to change. Also are front rotors the same as the rears.

Cheers

front rorors are not the same as the rears. You will also probably need to change the master cyl as well, as the pressures are different for disc brakes. This may also mean the master cyl actuating rod may be different. Apart from that, I can't see any problems.
