I don't know if this topic has been discussed or whether I am posting in the right area for this but I was told there was a good write up in Janury Wheels on this car, but I missed it. Has anyone posted the article?

I am looking for a bit more info.

Another good article is in "PERFORMANCE FORD" magazine, Volume 4 Edition 1.
It is the latest magazine with a red xr panel van on the cover

I'm surprised u guys havent brought this up earlier! I was checking it out at the all ford day, and I read the write up in Wheels Jan and and it got a pretty good wrap! Comes with herrod mods eg exhaust, suspension as well as 19" wheels, and bigger rotors etc etc looks like an awesome weapon!

I still havent seen how fast these things are to 0-100 does anybody no??
I haven't seen any figures.
I'd also like to see dyno charts, it would be interesting to see where the 320kw is made. Torque line would be interesting too.... I'm keen to see how a change of cams will change the power characteristics.

I still dont think that they represent good value considering that they are about $95,000 ,although they have better brakes more Kws and proberly stiffer suspension, they still are only an XR8 moded up.You can buy a GTP with the Herrod mods eg lowered suspension, exhaust, chip, cold air induction, plus Sunroof,SatNav,Leather,Premiun sound,Reversing sensors and they have a better look and a mean stance.
Just my opinions, and for about the same price.
Cheers John

Spose theyre going for individuality i guess... something out of the mainstream... but like u said john, u gould get a gtp for less.... and i do beleive the gt/gtp's look tougher. all comes back to the person, though the money u save buying a gtp with all the options you could put to mods like you have done john and come out with way more than 320!!!

G'day John

If you want good performance + options, go for the GTP
If you want UNBELIVALBE performance and little options, go the DJR.

I think its like this:

If the DJR was a kid, the race track would be like Disneyland.
Anyone serious about motorsport while not having sponsors, DJR is your tonic.

The GT has the name, heritage, stance and cred.
GT is for enthusiast, DJR is for specialists.

Get your GTP, change the brakes to 365mm, pop a set of Fully adjustable Konis, cams, chip, zorst, 19" rims & decent rubber, expect well over $110k.

The DJR is the perfect road, come track car without any compromises.

I want to be a DJR road car when I grow up. (and a new pair of racing shoes)

If I intend my GTP as being a track car (which I don’t), I'd have to be spend many more dollars on the setup. In the mean time Ill keep reading the DJR brochures on my bedroom wall and rejecting the invitations to those very tempting track days in my GTP.

I have done all the mods as you have said. All up costs including GST/ LCT and on road cost, the car owes me 105Ks. Performance is 360KW at the fly. It also has individuallity.

Your Comments or Enquiry : Hi,

In relation to the DJR high

performance 320, I was wondering do

you have figures in relation to times,

like 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile times.

Regards,

Jason

Hi Jason,

We should have the equipment in the next few weeks that will able to measure those figures. Like many people we are also keen to see what the car is capable of doing. Will keep you posted.

Maybe a Corrovit so they can get actual times on real roads rather than the
u beaut bestest goodest time on supergrippy track surface.

This isn't HSV, if they say it does 13.5 then it shold do 13.5 in the REAL world.
