AIT kits were worth about 3 grand. They were an aftermarket kit sold but were not too popular. They claimed 180kW and 6.5sec 0-100km and 14.5 quarter. Mike Webb used them in his SVO EA. Think 7 psi. They used an extra injector and aux computer. Small front mounter intercooler. I have an ad somewhere but have to did it up.
Oh, the manifold's are cast alloy and are prone to crack. The original Garrett Normalair manifolds where made of cast iron and are heavy and do not crack however are suited to the 4.1L Ford 6 not the 4.0L Ford 6.
That's right. The had a few distributor around fitting them. They were put on but not popular. They wen't as fast as the VN V8 5 Speed. **** Webb managed a 14.1 sec quarter in a EA SVO AIT T03 Turbo with 7 psi.
