Hi all. I'm new here. But i'm hoping someone can give me some help. I've got a 1992 Lincoln town car executive with the 4.6L. Now, I want to add some power to it. I wanted to know if the 1994 crown vic p71 ecu is compatible with my car. I know that they have the same engine, but i'm not sure if they are compatible. I just bought the car back in spring and the only thing I have been able to do to it is put a flowmaster exhaust. I only have the single exhaust but am soon going to have duals. I would greatly appreciate it. :hy:

In my opinion, it's best to stick with the original PCM due to the fact that more than the engine is controlled by it, and more things control the PCM. There are aftermarket chips that supposedly help but I'm not sure of any. Try this in the Crown Vic forum too and see if anyone has any recommendations.
