I just bought a 1990 ford ranger 4.0 and was told the fuel pump was out. I had checked the fuses under dash and all seemed ok. I changed the fuel pump, then noticed that by the battery was a power sorce fuse box. I looked inside and saw that the eec relay fuse was blown, I changed it, tryed starting it and checked it agian, blown!!! Ok now what do I need to check I don't know what the eec relay is. thanks David

fixed it, wire to trans was hitting the tail pipe and melted.
