I am working on my '06 Crown Vic right now....weather and basketball and what other errands permitting (the last 2 are related to the wife and kids).

Can the egr supply line be intentionally be plugged. Will the ecm know it?

On most cars EGR delete will mean you will have to clear the engine check light and it will be a fail on any emission test .

You will also lose fuel efficiancy. People mostly delete it to clean up the engine bay but its one emissions components I would never touch, I dont care how ugly it may be.
