Wheel Automotive parking light Tire Car Vehicle

A car fit for a king — or the King of Rock'n'Roll's doctor. The finest American car in the '70s was the Stutz Blackhawk, a coachbuilt ultra-luxury machine with Italian bodywork. The car rode on a Pontiac Grand Prix chassis with a 425 horsepower, 455 cubic-inch Pontiac V8. At over 19 feet long and 5,000 pounds, it wasn't burning up the track — it was American luxury at its finest. Elvis Presley bought this Blackhawk in 1971. Elvis owned the car for several years before gifting it to his physician Elias Ghanem, mounting a plaque on the dash that reads "Elias Ghanem A True Friend Elvis Presley". The car is remarkably original throughout, with the wood-lined dash dazzling under thick lacquer. The car goes to auction November 10-12 at Mecum's Las Vegas event.
