Temperature gauge goes to hot, engine goes to limp mode. Shut key off, gauge goes to operating temp instantly. Engine is not hot.
all driving situations, steady, acceleration, slowing down.
have changed temp sensor, thermostat, belt, anti-freeze, clutch fan. Engine is not overheating, just showing it is. Can gauge in cluster have an effect?
any ideas?
