I have been looking for a replacement part for my 2001 Escape, but I can't find it. The part is the center latch that locks the center console. I've looked on ford sites and as I expected, they didn't have any listed. I would appreciate any information you could give me.

have you contacted the dealer?

more than likely they will have a part to replace. If you are looking for an aftermarket piece good luck you are better of creating your own

I was worried there was no other option. i think the center console itself is somewhere around $300 and i've had similar issues where they don't sell idividual pieces. thanks for your help, maybe i'll get lucky and they do sell it seperately.

another option is to look at a junk yard and pull the part yourself.
