I have an '83 F-350 Econoline and I cannot figure out what is squeaking in the rear end. Also, I'm not sure how to, or if I do, put lubricant in the pumpkin back there. That's where I think the squeak is coming from since I have greased everything else. It only squeaks when I accelerate. Not when I rev the engine alone, but when it's in gear and I'm accelerating. It stops as soon as I take my foot of of the gas.
Any ideas? I see a squared bolt on the pumpkin and want to assume that's where I put lubricant, but obvioulsy my knowledge is lacking.
Thanks all
