It's about time Hakkinen won a race this year because it was getting boring seeing Schumacher dominating all the time.
Coulthard retired from the race with a suspension failure caused by contact with Jarno Trulli going into the first corner.
M. Schumacher now leads the championship by 37pts from David Coulthard and with 6 races to go.

Mark Webber finished 4th at Silverstone with his main rivals finishing ahead of him.

Good to see the Hak break through for a win, first at Silverstone for him too I think. I blitzed the field, and apparently M.Schumacher was using qualifying spec engine, which is why he seemed slow, but they say he was being careful with the engine.

Irive finished 9th after starting 15th.

Watched most of the race. Mica certainly had his stuff together. Knocked over a second of the lap record
