Yes it's as bad as it sounds....let me explain my situation,

Was changing the spark plugs in a my 2004 f 150 5.4 Triton and 1 out of the 8 plugs broke at the end of the plug, no biggie I thought just buy a broken spark plug remover tool aaannd walp that didn't work...

So of course being the genius that I am I thought I could use a drill tap and tap the plug then install a screw then pull the rest out and then snap and, View attachment 52443
5 minutes of cursing later I decide I could bring my troubles to the forums and ask for advice.....

SO Any ideas how I can deal with this WITHOUT REMOVING THE HEAD I'm willing to try anything at this point thanks in advance if you're actually willing to reply the this forum

So the Lisle tool didn’t work? Your only other option is to take the head off at this point or risk damaging the head. And pieces of the plug can fall into the cylinder causing damage.
