Thought I'd start a new thread for these modified falcons we are posting, considering the other one is getting quite big, and will save time for those will dialup connections.

The next modification I'd like to do is a 3/4 rear shot. Anybody got any good shots (rear, 3/4) of the EL GT or any other cars that could be used to restyle the Ford:?:

If so, please email some to me.

Thanks..

thanks for the pics fellas. Bit hard to work with them though considering the size though. I haven't had much luck with a decent looking wing on the AU, all the ones of tried look a bit too ricey, might have to try my own design:crazy:! I'm not a fan of the big wings, especially on the AU.

In the meantime, here is a slightly modified AU, has twin pipes, hard edge on the boot removed, which I think helps with the droopy look, and I dumped it.

Great stuff J-Type. I must say, removing the hard edge on the bootline makes a huuuuuge difference to the look of the back end. It looks a lot smoother, sleeker like that now. Twin exhausts ... oooooh baby.. !! :rocking:

*coughs* ... erm ...

Small mistake on my part. My eyes simply went to the pic, and assumed the handiwork of the resident brushwork specialist. I now feel like a :newbie:

I am not worthy. The great work just keeps coming. I have one question however! Why is it that the real thing never looks as good in the metal and a killer on paper?

Best one yet mate!

This one is an absolute ripper. No doubt. Superb front end, very tidy lines, and a nice complimentary skirting arrangement. Great overall proportions from front to back too. But I just LOVE that front end. That front spoiler has SOOO much potential to for cold air induction and brake cooling ducts... love it.

In all seriousness, if this was on sale today, I'd go out and trade in the EL2. Strong words indeed!

It's just that no car company has put me in charge of design. :D
Why that's the case I'll never know..

If the AV is even remotely like that, I'll sell my house to get the FTE version. Simply stunning. I can't heap enough praise on that effort. Very well done J-type..

I agree it looks sweet. Ford should be heading in that direction.

but I think it needs a bit of a bulge in the bonnet upwards, after all if its going to accomodate a varity of engines, Im guessing ford would need as much space as possible.

Is that the numberplate holder on the extreme left? (when rotated ccw 90)

Hmm, interesting..

Jtype thats an awesome pic you done there, love the front end styling, it's gorgeous, hmmm if we had you to be the car stylist of the AU instead of Steve Parks. Well i must admit i like the AU shape it's growing on me especially the XR's.
