I'm having a strange electrics problem with my -98 1.3i Fiesta. So,
-Indicators and blower motor work only with headlights on
-Turning blower speed over 2 blows fuse 26, which is RH headlight low beam. Blower, indicators and headlights go absent.
New ignition switch and the multi-function switch around steering wheel have been fitted, no effect.
Could it have something to do with the heater control module or daytime running lights? All suggestions are welcome.

Hard to advise you as Finnish specs must be different from UK . As far as I can remember Mk 4 models here had a heater ballast resistor pack but may vary if air con fitted and were not fitted with day time running lights .Could try disconnecting blower motor and some models had trouble with wiring at resistor melting . May / may not apply to your car .

Thanks for the suggestion but no luck. Fortunately I found the problem. Daylight running light relay had burned. Replacing it fixed everything.
