I have a 2010 escape with a 2.5, getting a P0301 only, replaced spark plugs, swapped coils to different cylinders, removed and cleaned injectors, removed and swapped injector to different cylinders, still a p0301. Did compression test on all 4 cylinders. 1 and 3 are around 150, cylinder 2 and 4 are around 180. I have read several other people with this problem, I will also get rough idle randomly and will get vibration around 50mph. Has anyone figured out this issue? The car has around 237K and this seems to be my only issue with it

There shouldn't be more than a 10% difference in the cylinders, how fast is the bleed down? Have you tried wet testing 1 and 3, squirt about a teaspoon of oil in the cylinder , rotate the shaft about a half a dozen times and retest. Unless our block is bad (and this doesn't sound it), either your rings are bad or your valves aren't seating properly.
