Hi, was hoping some of you on this forum have had a similar issue and could help me out. About two weeks ago my RPM needle light went out, it still is accurate and works during the day but I have an extremely hard time seeing it at night with the needle not having a light. Was wondering if you guys know if it just needs a new bulb or do you have to buy a replacement cluster?

The easiest way is to replace or rebuild the cluster. The leds are soldered to the circuitboard and are not easily replaced. There are rebuilders that will do just that.

2009 - 2014 Ford F150 - Speedometer Illumination - My rpm needle is not lit. All other numbers on that side are illuminated. The led under the 40 mph number is dim/out. I'm hearing that the LEDs are soldered in? Is there an easy way to replace them or do I need a new instrument cluster? TIA, Malcolm
