Hi guys I have a problem with changing the timing chain on my ford falcon 4.0l inline 6
I've matched marks on the crankshaft and idler but I can't figure out the camshaft mark
Kind regards Nikolai

The pictures I uploaded are still with the original chain and haven't removed it till I figure out the cam timing mark. I've seen pictures online but the cam mark sits on the right hand side and on mine it sits on the left, car was driving and starting perfect just stripped it down to replace the timing chain because the guides where broken

Tell me what model and what year Falcon and I will post the relevant pictures from the factory workshop manual. I assume it's an early E series but I'd rather not guess. Note you can also download the complete factory workshop manual from
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/

US$21.95 for a 72 hour subscription that will give you more than enough time to download all the factory workshop manuals, owners handbooks and TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) etc for all Australia production Falcons and associated models since 1990.
