Hello

I got a new Fiesta before they put in the MP3 Socket.

However i have a 6000CD Radio in my car and have been told that it cannot have an MP3 Socket connection

After looking on the internet i sound an MP3 socket that can be added to the 6000 Radio.

Has anyone fitted an MP3 Socket?

Thank you,
Chris Mayhew

Any reason you can't just run a cable from the AUX inputs to a 3.5mm socket? I was planning to do this sometime over the next week, so if you know of any reason it can't be done please let us know. Otherwise I'll let you know how it goes.:burnout:

why not just replace the 6000CD with your own cd head unit which is mp3 compatiable then just make mp3 cds? I do this and just make a new mp3 cd every month or so?

I don't have a fiesta but I got an ipod adapter from Nano Rider that works great in my car... I tried to look up the fiesta but I realized that nowhere in your post did you mention a year so I couldn't properly search for it... sorry

good luck fellas

Genuine Ford part can be bought for this online, roughly a tenner. Matter of just sliding out the radio, attaching it and deciding where u want the input. It is just a 3.5mm connection for all mp3/dvd players.
