A lot of makers put in a heavier duty drive train to support the boost as well, another thing you have to look at. Unless you like leaving transmission guts on the road.
Lol thanks for your input, I just don't know if I wanna spend the money to buy a klze and beef up the internals to turbo it or if it would be better to put a already stock turbo engine from an older Mazda 3 speed
A KLZE won't handle the boost as well as a KLDE due to the higher compression and marginally weaker valve spring retainers. I don't think there's a "best" engine anyways though. It all comes down to personal preference and your project budget.
