what up,

I was wondering if complete door assemblies from a 94 base Probe could be installed onto my 93? The reason I'm asking is because the 94's have power windows and locks, and my 93 doesn't. So would the power windows and locks work if I bolted the doors on and plugged in the harness in the jamb? Thanks for any advice.

as far as i know they are compat.

if yours arent powered there still should be a connection there hanging for the power stuff when you take off your door panel.

The door panels will mount on your car just fine. . . as for whether or not you will have power locks and windows, depends on what you mean by "complete assemblies"?

Without the window motors and the doorlock actuators the door panels and controllers will do you no good. You will need the window motors and possibly some of the mechnical mechnisms for the windows and same for the door locks.

You will also need power. I have seen that most of the Probes have all the wiring inplace for all the options. . . so you could possibly plug in the new doorlock and window controls and be on your way.

Some Probes don't have the wire running to the door jamb for the pwr windows & locks.
Easiest way to tell is pull the kickguard off of your fusebox, and look at the 15 pin harnass in the back of the fusebox (near the firewall).

If there's no wire coming out of pin #6 (locks) & #15(windows), then your car isn't wired for it, and you'll have a little more work cut out for yourself.
