I own a 49 Monarch (Canadian version of the Mercury) 4 door sedan.
Original 255ci flathead, standard and no frills.
I want to put a newer Ford frame under the body to house my big block and have upgraded steering/suspension. My wheelbase is 118", Does anyone know what Ford frame will work and No I don't want a front clip?
I've had replies that Chevies work, but it's a Ford and it's staying Ford.
Have also tried many different site for frame dimensions/specs, but can't find anything helpful.
Thanks

Here are some suggestions that are not Chevrolet frames. Chassis engineering Inc., Chassisworks, Artmorrison.com, Total Cost Involved. I am sure there are more companies but thats all I can think of right now. FWIW I used a 1983 "G" frame from a 83 Oldsmobile.
