modified as follows..
17" 7 spoke wheels


Interior: sparco pedals/gearknob
italvolanti flatbottom steering wheel
standard seats
Engine: "large" ballbearing turbo
custom extractors
custom high flow inlet manifold
microtec mtx8
custom catch can with oil return to sump
custom airbox with pipercross pod filter
custom intake pipe
custom large front mount intercooler
custom intercooler plumbing
turbo XS blow off valve(recirculating type)
custom short shift kit
lowered springs(kings)
koni sport adjustable shocks
DBA gold cross drilled and slotted discs
bendix ultimate full metal brake pads
custom brass puk clutch


Car Audio: alpine single cd and speakers
single 12inch sub all covered in matching grey vinyl
amps mounted in spare wheel well



Due to being ripped off by someone on another forum who sold me a dud gearbox, i am selling the car. it will be sold one month from now as it still has to have gearbox replaced. The gearbox will be modified with bigger bearing? to accept the increase in power. car was dynoed 120 kw at the wheels. standard sti's on this same dyno on the same day made 100kw at all four wheels aprox 220kw at the flywheel @ 16psi. the car runs on premium unleaded only and will take more boost but was limited in the interests of reliability. the car weighs 1200kg wet.

the car is in imaculate condition with less that 130 000 kms october 1992 build.
the car has the mentioned mods. externally the car has no badges on the front quarters and will have a 99 bodel wrx front bar to cover the rather large intercooler. the car will be resprayed at the same time. paintwork being done as a favour luckily. All mods done with defect avoidence in mind (pod filter in custom alluminium airbox, and recirc blow off valve.

the car is in storage at the moment and WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL G'BOX IS SORTED.

It breaks my heart to sell it but i cant afford to F%$k around any more.all reasonable offers considered.

would you consider trade for a v8 fairlane with extractors and exhaust on tickford springs immac. cond? If not, roughly what kind of $$$ are you looking for to gove me an idea...sounds like a real nice car...

sorry for the late reply. I was actually thinking about a fairlane but its been placed on the black-ban list by the ......you know who...(killjoy)

current highest offer is 13,200 but the guy sounded shaky..finance pend etc
ps forgot to mention car will be registered till dec 2005

same gearbox but strengthened with bigger bearings.

i might mention some of the costs incurred
bear in mind a bog stocker in good condition (low ks, spotless interior/exterior, well maintained) will fetch 10k then add all the goodies...

i dont even want to see the total replacement cost and if the missus ever knew???? eeeeeeeeewwwwwww

hell you could put it back to stock (i still have most of the parts) sell all the goodies and double your money !!!!

No worries,

I wuld have to find a buyer for my car first in that case so it would probably all become too hard!

oh well if your still interested later on, let me know. the car wont be sold until i can present it in approx 1 month good luck with yours too.

hey, have a few questions:
* Is it being resprayed the same colour?
* Any rust at all?
* How do you go with insurance? (your age, cost, company etc.)
* Would you consider selling without the stereo for less?
* 1/4 mile time? or estimate?

-same colour (rich jade).... dark green
-zero rust (never left the garage but is a magnet for shopping trolleys)
-insurance sucks unless your over thirty.
-id rather not separate as the stereo is custom made for the car. but id consider it if the price is right.
-never run it down the quarter and i wouldnt advise it as these gearboxes are very weak at best.an estimate i dunno what would a 220kw (at the flywheel ) falcon weighing 1200kgs witha perfect launch do??? id say 13s give or take. though its not meant for 1/4 mile its better off on a circuit.
