Our dealership got in a Ford Cougar today..

I had the pleasure of taking it for a drive.

Very responsive little 2.5L V6 and it has got one SWEET exhaust note.....

Very very nice car.... The build quality is much better than falcon.

Has anyone else driven one?

Yes! the roof is very low!! I had to bend my neck so i could look over my shoulder when reversing, otherwise my head would hit the roof..

The roof needs to be higher!!!

HSE2: do you mean Couger Eibach limited edition?

I've driven one! well cuz my mum owns one which is sweet. Personally i think its an awesome car to drive but it could do with a little bit more power and the seats are ****ing uncomfortable.. although i do enjoy the heated leather seats!. hehe yeah i recommend anyone looking for a good 2-coupe with the money to spend - Get one! or atleast consider it.. :p :p

Yeah i sat in one at the motor show, it felt ok but abit tight on head room(me 6 foot, well almost, 5 11 and 1/2 grrrrrrrrrrrrr).:( :(

The look of the car is nice, particularly the front lights, interior is very nice as well. But i wouldn't own one, i'd rather own XR6 for same price.

Definately one of the best looking FWD coupes on the market when compared to the Celica, Prelude, Integra (new one) Hyundai etc Its a pity it doesnt have the motor that was in the SVT Contour, 150Kw 2.5L V6 which would be good for low 15 or better.

Yeah I attempted to get into one the other day!

Ever seen a bloke 6foot 7 22 stone try to fit into a car designed around 5 foot midget at 11 stone

I think the crane helped me get out!!!!;)
Imagine this (refer to member rides area for truck details!)
An Eibach Cougar loaded on a truck with barely more room widthwise than the car with the mirrors extended. Then you gotta get into it to get it off in rain.
Goes something like this - open the door a coupla inches, squeeze your arm in the gap and turn the key to on, use a stick to lower the power window, climb up the side of the truck and lower yourself through the window. Then find that the spring chocks have come out on the first deck edge and you have to climb in and out five times making sure the spoiler doesn't scrape.
Yeah, that Eibach kit is a pain in the ass!
