Over at the Australian forum "The Pub" we're discussing the Panther platform cars. The question is , where is the fuel tank on them?

The gas tank is mounted up in the well between the rear axle and the trunk area.

Thanks MarqMan, they turned out really nice. You can't see it in the pic, but I had some Mercury symbols cut at a local sign company. Then I filled the horses in the center caps, painted them, and put on the Mercury stickers....almost looks stock!!

Nice to know yours is still going strong at 200k+....that makes me feel safer in pushing mine a bit before dropping the bucks on a new motor and tranny. Getting my "wish" list together so when I start my rebuild life is going to get interesting!
