Swap bulb with other side that is working to confirm bulb is good and correct type . If still not working , test for power at bulb when footbrake applied
Galaxie 500 1964 brake light
The right brake light on my 1964 Galaxie 500 doesn't work. The bulb is good. I was told that there might a problem with a 'connector' at the base of the steering wheel. Any ideas?

Looks like the problem is from a faulty turn signal switch.
