Last year about a week before XMAS i finally had enough of my previous employer and walked off site, cos he hadnt paid me my full amount for the previous fortnight, but this was only minor compared to what i was going through during the year. Anyway i threatened court action and before you know it i not only had the rest of my money but the materials to finish my new house.

I always knew i had a strong chance of scoring a job with a friend of mine's Furniture factory and yesterday i met with the big boss and the job was sealed. Its probably the best xmas present and the best way to start the new year, i know it probably doesnt sound like much to others but im very excited about this new job especially after all the lies and deceit from my previous employer.

anyway just thought i'd let you's all know.

cheers,

Good on ya mate... I've decided I've had enough of my workplace (well, not so much my workplace, more the way I'm treated by those above me and the way my pay is often screwed around), and so I've already worked there for the very last time.

So now I'm looking for a new job, only wish my Escort was registered so when I do get a new job I don't have to keep borrowing LuvinmyEB's Falcon to get to and from work...

If you are a permanent employee stick it out for 1 more year you have long service leave pro rata then its worth 2 months pay..

I have thought of this but the pain and torture far out weigh the pay,it's really just not worth it,I want out,I just want to be happy in what ever I do and at the moment I'm not.My partner is on a good wicket so money mean's noithing to me,I just want to be able to come home and be happy.

Thanks for the support guys.

I have to meet with the boss again on wednesday to discuss exactly what i'll be doing aswell as income. I'll more than likely be working in dispatch and doing deliveries, i'll be earning alot less but i know for a fact that these people are a good bunch of guys to work for and thats pretty much what i was looking for aswell as a consistent wage.

I remember discussing this with you on IRC, and I remeber how annoyed and over your last job you were. I'm glad that you made your stand (as you said you would) and that it has now worked out in the best possible way.

(Any chace for some new bedside tables???? bwahahahahahha)

That's allright, you dont deal directly with the public, and have to deliver the good's into home's that I swear the door's are getting smaller or the furniture is getting bigger not to mention heavier,it's a shit of a job, but delivering to depot's will be allright and not having to put up with the stupid public that think when they buy a $900 lounge their getting a $5000 one.
