I have a 1966 F-100 I inherited from my deceased father-in-law. Other than some moderate rust damage under the cab (cab mounts) this one is in pretty good shape. It is a Custom Cab. I overhauled the 300 six last spring and it runs like a champ. I am running a C-4 automatic and stock 3.50 rear end.

One of the few gripes I have about this is the steering effort. It really doesn't bother me that much, but I am used to torquing diesel head bolts and other heavy stuff all the time. My wife refuses to drive it (even though it was her Dad's old pickup) until I get power steering installed.

I am a Chevy man from way back so this Ford is unfamiliar to me. Is there a power steering box I can swap in? I have a power steering pump that fits the 300 six, so that is no problem. I can fabricate hydraulic hoses if need be.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
