Hey!

I have 2017 f150 and last month I slid off the road due to ice and slammed into a curb.My alignment went out obviously. Took it to ford 3 times for the alignment. Seems like they fixed it this time but I’m noticing that when I back up without excelerating and cock the wheel to the right I get a rubbing/pulling noise. Ford had my truck for 5 hours, nothing was bent or broken due to the curb but couldn’t find any reason why the truck would make the noise. Of course it doesn’t when they have it but it’s happening on the drivers side front wheel which wasn’t the side I hit. Any ideas what could be causing the problem? I take it in tomorrow again to see if it’s the 4x4 hub or something around that nature.

Check the vacuum hose connections for the hubs at the firewall switch and hubs. The hubs default to 4X4 and will cause partial engagement, and grinding noise, if leaking.
