88 Cougar no communication
Mercury Cougar Forumhi there I am new to this site. I am also a new owner of a 88 Cougar. I have a check engine light and rough idle at cold start up. try a scan tool and jumper wire to pull codes but no Communication. any suggestions? Thanks jon- 3

95 Cougar V8 burning a lot of oil
Mercury Cougar ForumMy 95 Cougar with the 4.6L V8 burns a lot of oil. Maybe 1qt per 1000 miles. The odometer has stopped, but my guess it has about 110,000 miles.
